*** Who Won the Final Debate? ***

  • Barack Obama

  • Mitt Romney

Results are only viewable after voting.
I don't get the logic that the guy leading the EC needed the big win? Obama is leading in battleground states, I'd say mitt needed a clear FP differentiator and he failed at that by agreeing with Obama most of the night.
It seemed to me that Obama was acting like the candidate that was behind and Romney was trying to preserve his lead. Regardless on who is really ahead it seemed like this to me. Anybody else?

Further evidence that the whole "undecided voter" idea is just asinine. I'm watching CNN and they assembled a panel of 25 Floridians self described as such. Every single person they talked to was transparently "decided" and their answers were little more that regurgitations of campaign slogans.

One guy said that he was concerned that our relationship with Israel wasn't that strong for the last four years. lol. The only way you could possibly have that opinion is if you listen to Rush 15 hours a week.

Not really.

Obama was more aggressive, but that doesn't mean he was acting like he was behind.

I still haven't heard a single tangible argument for how Romney won this debate.

It was a virtual tie. To win,Obama needed a knock out and failed to deliver. Mitt just had to keep his cool to win and he did that. Neither did anything egregious and neither did anything amazing.

Obama is in trouble after this debate. He needed to motivate the masses to go out and vote for him, but all he did was bore them.
hahahah that was a predictable response...rofl...hahahaaa

No. Seemed to me Obama was spot on. Just the right levels of righteous indignation at applicable moments, stern and clear in his judgement and vision for where he is going.

Romney on the other hand was weaselly and uncomfortable.

It doesn't matter who "won", elections aren't won by one side or the other winning debating points. So save your carpal tunnels and don't bother bringing that up again with me.

I keep seeing the spin from the right being that Obama attacked all night and Romney was just being presidential. That's not what I saw at all, but I guess we'll see in the next few days.

Here are more things that are funny to you then:

2 + 2 = 4
Water is wet.

I find it strange you think the predicable truth is funny, but I am happy to give you warmth and joy this evening. 🙂

If Romney thought he was behind he would have hammered Obama about Libya but he didn't.

After that instant CBS poll I think we might see things finally shift back in a larger way to Obama. People like to back the winner.

Obama only really messed up once with his known self control issues...when he became arrogant and condescending about the Navy.

Romney was the same as he was in the other debates.

It seemed that Romney had no vision of where he was going....that`s sad and pathetic and just show that Romney`s preparation was the shits!!

What?

That was a grade AAA super fine bazinga my friend.

Anyways in what universe is Mitt Romney more qualified to talk about military matters than the commander in chief who is briefed regularly and meets with generals and admirals on a regular basis.

How many generals and admirals would you say Romney talks to?

Huh? Then why did you say Romney "did win the debate"?

It was your comment, not mine. I just honestly asked what made you say so.

If you can't think of any reasons why he won, it sounds like you're just saying he did because you want him to have done so. *shrug*

It was an awesome line and right on the money in terms of military spending and military "toys." This is not battleship where we count the number of ships as military preparedness. The enemy is fighting mostly asymmetrical wars. We don't need billions on more ships or new toys but better intelligence and more agile military.

Pretty sure he knew that would just remind people of the last debate. That's a no-win issue for him on the stage. He can hammer that all he likes on the stump.
I don't see it that way. Romney was basically right in the last debate about it. If he thought he was behind and needed to make up ground he would have made dam sure that this would have come out if he thought he was behind. Obama was attacking more CNNs poll says 68-23 thought so too. If Obama was comfortable he would have just sit back and basically ignored Romney and forcefully tell his side of the story.

I'm sure some will see it as arrogant and condescending, especially those that think he's being uppity. Others will just see it as a playful jab that made a point. FWIW the Republican spin (and it may have some merit) is that the exchange will help Romney in the shipbuilding state of Virginia.

Romney demonstrated what happens if you let him tell his story in the first debate. He runs roughshod over reality and Obama would just lose ground.
