I mean if he really wants to devalue the dollar we can just adopt the ruble, that's been on the way down for a while.Just what a potential 2nd Trump admin needed: yet more weapons grade stupid economic policy

Do they have reason to doubt they will lose at this point?
Even the last two years underestimating Trump's strength, that's probably more like a +6-7 right now. When you are up 2 points probably best to not act like you are up 15.

Trump has already won 28385819 electoral votes to Biden's 0, its already over! Plus the GOP won all 388293939 house seats and 38305 Senate seats, it's a complete wipeout. Every democrat lost in every race nationwideThe idea that Trump is going to produce a near Obama 2008 result is not a serious opinion.

Dude you were so wrong in 2022 about the Trump party strength. You are ridiculous.Even the last two years underestimating Trump's strength, that's probably more like a +6-7 right now.
Ok, sure. But it's not KamalaDude you were so wrong in 2022 about the Trump party strength. You are ridiculous.
Yes the Dems can win this. They just have to get Biden out of the way, he's fucking us over.
I do actually think there's still a decent chance of that. It may be a little uglier and may happen later than it should but I'm hoping it's enough and in time to save us.
Apparently, there was never any serious appeal for a minority candidate. Seriously, could Trump picture himself holding hand up high in victory with someone like Tim Scott.I think the campaign most definitely believes they’ve won the election in July.
Edit: You have to throw all the assumptions of what makes a good VP out the window. #1 requirement for this job was someone who won’t overshadow Trump and will stay well within whatever loyalty guardrails Trump establishes. I’d argue the #2 requirement, especially after 7/13, is that you have someone who projects as a “strong” white male “anti-DEI” candidate. Vance passes both tests with flyingcolorsshades of white.
Your opinion of Kamala and a great VP pick is meaningless.Ok, sure. But it's not Kamala
Someone needs to slap that stupid fuck in the face and remind him the president isn't in 'control' of the government. It's the chief executor. It decides how government enacts the changes that congress dictates. Congress is the steering wheel, president is the gas and brakes, judiciary is the seatbelts and airbags, and the US citizens are the passengers.

Except when the mfg insists that all the parts are proprietary and sues you if you try to replace it. So far the passengers haven't decided to just set it on fire but I suspect we're close. The citizens own the car and can replace any of the parts as they see fit.

Get out of your NYC coffee shop bubble and you'd see why.
It's cute how you think he cares how things are supposed to work, and that he isn't there because of his support for a unitary executive.Someone needs to slap that stupid fuck in the face and remind him the president isn't in 'control' of the government. If I was in whatever godforsaken bubble you are in, we'd have had Trump as president plus an overwhelmingly GQP senate and house right now.
Yes I'm sure Kamala will sway enough Midwest rust belt indies to turn the tide.
Look man, I like your takes most of the time, but Kamala as the savior isn't one of them.
I care that he's transmitting this incredibly dangerous message that the unitary executive is how the US govt is supposed to function. Of course with the current SC, I'm sure they'll allow it, so who cares. It's cute how you think he cares how things are supposed to work, and that he isn't there because of his support for a unitary executive.
