My vote goes for Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. While they didn't kill as many folks as Hitler, Stalin or Chairman Mao, their slaughter was more horrific than the others and shattered the country. Cambodia still hasn't recovered today.
 
I'll be honest with you, I really don't know who the bottom two are. But 6 million jews and countless allied and axis troops sounds bad enough for me.

I would like to define all of them as "worst", definetly Hitler and Stalin, dont know enough about Mao and Pol Pot, but if anyone have any links to a good read then please post... though I'm not sure if I want to know any more bad news about the world:frown:

ouch.... Thats kind of a broad statement to make. Seeing as how he didnt do anything to kill people, and i guess actually promoted peace and stuff...

its not his fault that the world is full of extremists today who kill and go to war over religion

Hitler. Millions of jews, russians and thousands of other allied troops. I'm mostly german and I'm ashamed of my country's history. F*cking bastard.
 
I know Hitler is the worst to *my* knowledge, but I don't know enough about the other 3 to make a fair assesment...
 
Stalin killed more people than hitler. Of course I bet a vast number of school students don't even know his name but could pick hitler out of a picture book.

My vote goes to Vlad the Impaler (aka Prince Dracul) for most horrific killings.

In reference to WWII attrocities, I think that the statistic regarding the number of Russians killed greatly outweighs any other in terms of horror.

Well if you want to broad like that, then the scientist who helped advance weapon technology are BY FAR the cause of more deaths than anyone else.

Guess we should pan science and technology all together since some have used it too cause harm.

just becuase people have killed in the name of jesus, that doesnt make jesus a bad person. If I went and killed my roomate right now in the name of "red dawn", does that make you a bad person?
 
look at it in ratios, there were many scientists that worked on developing weapons, only one jesus, I don't agree with red dawn btw, but by your logic, the scientists each contributed to fewer.

I doubt any of the four killed directly. Altough pol pot may have... For the most part, I think people killed in each of their names...........
