General tso chicken isnt even real chinese food, its a dish made to accomodate american's taste. and you hardly ever see a chinese person order it, in fact, there is no general tsos chicken in china.

if u goto china and try to order general tso chicken, the waiter will be like "WTF is that"

General Tso Chicken is my fav when i order take out. My grandparents get angry at me everytime they see me eating the bs "chinese" food ahhahaha.

Fried Chicken + Pork Fried Rice isnt real chinese food :-(
 
I could give two craps if it is "real" chinese food.

All I know is that I have to call a chinese restaurant to get it. And it is good.
 
Mmmmmmmmmm..........kind of reminds me of the episode of South Park when "Sheety Wok" built a great wall around South Park and he used his irresistable sweet sour pork to lure the Mongolians. 😀
 
i've never heard my parents or any chinese person i know say general tso's chicken, to this day i don't know what it is. perhaps i've eaten it somewhere under a different name😛

The chinese place 2 blocks from my old college apartment made a killer orange flavored chicken. I have yet to find its equal anywhere else.

If you read the article it mentions that the dish was probably invented by chinese immigrants who lived in america. Which is probably why you can't find it in china 😉
