The ASUS GTX 670 DC II is one of the few cards that actually have a custom PCB design. Gigabyte uses the GTX 680 reference PCB for their GTX 670. ASUS has 6 power phases, while Gigabyte has 5 phases (Added one more on the 680PCB.
The ASUS Card is the only GTX 670 to have a backplate, as far as I know. This will help spread the heat from the backside mounted mem chips. Front chips and VRM heatsink is cooled by it's two fans.
As far as build quality goes I feel the ASUS GTX 670 DC II is of a higher build quality then both the Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670 (I've seen one live) and the MSI GTX 670 PE.
