I don't always fast food, but when I do, I always order something with buttermilk biscuit, solo or with meat.

I like KFC's recipe, but what do you stuff in your tummy?

My favorite are Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits (I know, not fast food).

I made them at home with a recipe I found but they weren't the same.

Cracker Barrel used to have fantastic biscuits, and they were unlimited.

Best ever? My Tennessee Grandma, RIP.

I voted McDonalds, as their biscuits most remind me of my Grandmothers. (McDs mix uses buttermilk "flavoring" & hydrogenated Beef Fat)

My Grandmother made "cathead" biscuits, used real lard and real "from the farm" Buttermilk, the best biscuits ever!

I can make a pretty good Buttermilk biscuit myself, but my reluctance to use 100% lard (store-bought lard has an "off" flavor) and the lack of availability of "real" Buttermilk makes it hard for me to make the perfect biscuit, but I always get complimented on my biscuits nonetheless.

The biscuits from KFC do it for me. I aint saying they are the best, but they are one of the things I look forward to when eating there.

Stuff you make at home don't taste the same because unlike restaurants, you lack the high temperature ovens and stoves and care how much fat and salt goes in.

Work in a restaurant enough where you can see the ingredients being added and you wont want to eat it. Eating a stick of butter would be healthier in comparison.

I didn't even know it existed until now.
I had never heard about stuff containing buttermilk either but apparently several supermarket chains carry it here.

I voted Chick-Fil-A; KFC would be my 2nd pick. I've had McDonald's and Bojangle's. Since Popeye's is in the lead (in this poll), think I'll have to pick up a biscuit or two soon.

It's doubtful I'd ever attempt to make homemade biscuits from scratch.

Care to post or link recipe?

Anyone that has had homemade, knows that is the correct answer. Since the OP talked about fast food ones, I picked Popeye's since they are the best FF biscuits I've had.
