Popeyes probably has the worst biscuit. If you like to eat hockey puck for biscuit, I guess it's the best. Bojangles has the best biscuit followed by Chick-fil-a. Only Southerners should be allowed to vote in this poll.

Red Lobster and their Cheddar Bay Biscuits would like to have a word with you...

I would also add that Lucille's has better biscuits than either place you mentioned. And the Apple Butter they give you just pushes them over the top.

I had two Popeyes biscuits after work and they were soft and delicious. If your popeyes serves hockey pucks they need retraining.

Stuff you make at home don't taste the same because unlike restaurants, you lack the high temperature ovens and stoves and care how much fat and salt goes in.

Work in a restaurant enough where you can see the ingredients being added and you wont want to eat it. Eating a stick of butter would be healthier in comparison.

sigh....

We have a Lucille's at a local mall around here. I tried their pulled pork sammich a while ago. I was not impressed. I think it came with a biscuit, and it was pretty good.

Bojangles > Chic Fil a > Hardees (carls junior) > Church's (they put out a new recipe recently that's good) > Whataburger > Popeyes > KFC>McDonalds

Popeye's chicken is great for the chicken and the red beans and rice. Their biscuits are sub par. If I had a popeye's close, it would be my $3 chicken and no sides dinner, but church's and kfc are it for me. I haven't eaten at red lobster in years, but that's casual dining, and the rest of these are fast food.
