We as in the United States, Liberia, and Burma
454 milligrams of Common Sense!!
In that great burst of enlightenment that brought the French & American revolutions, the later part of the 1700?s also brought the invention of one unifying measurement system that would allow for trade and communication in the growing world of commerce. That system was called the Metric System. And today, only such advanced nations as Liberia, Burma & the United States have failed to make it mandatory.
lol,

 for American arrogance.

My life is a unit convention mess. I use the english units in my personal life and metric units at work. :p

Imperial system is too embedded in my life for me to ever make a full switch to metric.

Someone has to say it: "The metric system is the tool of the devil! My car gets forty rods to the hogshead and that's the way I likes it."

Hmmm....well, I still weigh myself in pounds.

But since using computers a lot (overclocking, monitoring BIOS temps, etc), I've gotten so used to the Celsius system that I use it completely interchangeable with Fahrenheit - either number makes sense to me.

Yes, I find it disturbing that there are still countries that don't use international measurement system (metric), nor any international currencies (Dollar is a casino ship), nor use international barcode system (UPC vs. EAN)... and I could go on! Now, guess the country ;)
