I've got no choice, unless I want to move far away. Insurance is going up all around the state. I know people who pay $6000+ per year. As far as my house, it's a 1050 sq. ft. house which didn't flood or take damage during Katrina.
From what I hear, insurance rates are going up this year. Some say they might double.
