I insist on Diablotek, but in a pinch I can make do with an Allied, Deer, Rocketfish or Dynex PSU instead. Do you know if there are any good reasons for me to add Cougar and MAS to this exclusive list?

My preferences......Seasonic, Corsair, some Antec
 
yeah. seasonic and corsair are my only choices these days. at the very high end, antec, PCP&C and enermax are also good.


Most names on that list are total crap.
 
Zippy/Emacs. Delta. Possibly CWT. All I can think of at the moment though.

Of course, "better" heavily depends on usage and the particular model and importance of noise, but there you go.
 
Well, they're all better known as the OEMs for the top brands. It's rare that they themselves make a PSU that's in that tier. Except Seasonic, that is, their gold series is outstanding.
