Please read previous posts. You do realize that Silva got beat by Tito and Belfort IN THE UFC and Chuck has beaten both of them. So to say that nobody in the UFC would put up a fight is just not true. It's all about how they match up with each other. And for the record, only Chuck, Tito, and Babalu would fare well in Pride. However if some of the Pride guys came to UFC they'd be in for a shock to b/c the UFC houses most of the best wrestlers. All's that to say is both Pride and UFC have some bad mofos who can beat each other on any given day.

Tito is mad overrated, he's a good fighter, but would get squashed in Pride! When Randy faught Tito, at points in the fight, especially when he let tito GET UP on his own because he wanted to kick his ass. It seemed like he was toying with Tito and was fighting an amature. I've never seen a fighter in UFC let a dude get up that easy. Tito would get killed in Pride, Chuck would get killed, well unless he thumbed dudes in the eyes to get over. Babalu might have a chance, but the best Pride has to offer is a scary bunch! UFC would do better to stay in the states and keep the rules they got. Pride would wipe the floor with us :)

Chuck is a great fighter and I have confidence in him beating anyone Pride could put in front of him. I look forward to the Tito vs Chuck fight!
These are the types of clueless guys that LOVE the UFC. Pride invited Chuck Liddell to Pride and he couldn't even make it past the second round in the tournament.

Ok, I'm not a Pride or UFC hugger, I can appreciate them both. But let's be honest. Chuck is good. When he got beat in pride it was in 2003. Also read my previous post. Chuck beat Tito who beat Silva who beat Jackson who beat Chuck. In that same tournemnt, Chuck beat Overeem, who also beat Silva. The lists like this go on and on
Ok first off, I don't think Chuck is a bad fighter. He's just not a Pride caliber fighter. Secondly, fighting doesn't work that way. Just because X can beat Y, and Y can beat Z, doesn't mean X can beat Z. Chuck beat Randleman and Randleman beat Cro Cop. Do you think Chuck has a chance against Cro Cop? I don't think so.

UFC rules don't favor jack. They are just sh!tty fighters overall, plain and simple. They posses ZERO ground skills. All they know is guard, triangle, and arm bar from the guard. That's it. Those morons haven't freakin' figured out how to get out of a triangle choke for God's sake. There are two things that happen to a UFC fighter when he gets caught in a triangle choke, he either taps out or he wiggles around and luckily gets out of it. Their ground skills are AWFUL. Why? Because the new generation of UFC fighter don't specialize in any one thing. They are just alright at a bunch of different things. Now there are some good UFC fighters, but they are WAY few and far between. I like Chuck and think he is one of the better UFC fighters, but he better stay out of the Pride house if he knowns what's good for him.

Ya, that's exactly my point. MMA math doesn't work. I'm just tired of everyone saying UFC or Chuck sucks b/c he went to Pride and got beat by Jackson. Any of the top fighters have a chance against each other. But we can all agree Pride's HW would absolutely dominate UFC HW.

Pride fighters are not Gods, they can be beaten. But ANY fighter can be beat on any given day. But overall, Pride fighters are WAY more skilled than UFC fighters, by far.

I'm a fight fan, and I go where the talent is. I started watching UFC at UFC 2, not some of these goofs that think they know what they're talking about that just caught UFC at the tail end. I left UFC when the talent left UFC, and that was a long time ago. When you charges $40 for a UFC PPV event there is MAYBE one good fight you are looking forward to. With Pride, the card is stacked and just about every fight has the potential to be a great fight.

I find Pride more entertaining, I haven't seen a lot of Pride, so I don't know what's typical. But seeing a huge man like Sapp fight a dude who looks about the size of Oscar Dela Hoya is great fun. UFC has this stupid "weight" class thing. I wanna see a David Vs Goliath match. Sometimes the smaller dude can own the hell out of the big dude too. the only build up UFC has seem to have all year was Tito Vs. Shamrock. And that resulted in a FREE rematch during the middle of the week on SpikeTV.

I think the only reason Tito Vs. Liddell this December will be as big as it is, there ain't sh!t else...

I say bring back Randy & Don Frye for one last fight each. I know Don is probably 45 now, but that dude was pure fire. And Randy, even at his old age could knock out probably anyone in UFC right now.

Pride Bushido is coming on PPV Nov 12th. Bushido is normally comprised of light weight fighters. Gomi is in it and the card doesn't look too bad. A LOT of matches and you should get your money's worth.

The regular Pride just passed, but they'll probably have the next one in Dec or Jan. I think a few of the older Pride fights are coming out on Spike now, which I really don't like. I like to keep the good stuff to as few of people as possible. :)

That's because no one wanted to pay for that sh!t. Shamrock is one of the biggest sh!t talkers in MMA (yeah, I think even bigger than Tito) and he got stomped on FOR THE THIRD TIME. But hey, that's no gonna stop Ken from talking sh!t. He'll probably do some smack talking at the next press conference.

It is a small "club" and I like to keep it that way. The people that know about Pride now, USUALLY know a lot about the sport, and most have some martial arts background. They look at it from a technically aspect instead of the typical UFC fans that just want to see someone get "beat up" and don't know sh!t about fighting. I loved when the UFC was a small club, but it has gotten too big and has changed for the worse. I don't want to see that happen to Pride.

Well when I say small, I'm not saying 5 people watch it. They do have PPV events and I'm sure they make quite a bit of money off it, but most people don't know what the heck Pride is. In comparison to the UFC in the US, Pride is tiny, so is K-1.

Its not small, hes talking in respect to all the new mma fans created by the rise in popularity of the UFC because of the reality shows. Most of them don't know too much about Pride. Pride and UFC aren't the only shows out there either, there are a whole lot.

Ninja, sorry for the incorrect info ... I've started watching Pride only 6 months ago so Tito/Silva was before I was watching Pride. Either way, there's no way to 'rank' the fighters as easily as we are doing here. Two words .. Buster Douglas.
