the lame duck president? no, sorry. anyone who voted that now is wrong. a couple years ago, maybe. right now, nope. McCain has more pull than Bush right now. If you want to get generic and say "the us president" then I'd more or less agree

Yes he is because he dragged us into this war, and look at our country today. Despite all the opposition, we're still in a shithole? How's that not powerful. Bernanke is a close second and he can cause a recession in no time with crappy fiscal policy.
