Who here wears glasses

I mostly wear glasses. However, when I'm on vacation this week, I'm going to wear contacts because I've heard it's bloody hot in Myrtle Beach this time of year, and I don't want to be pushing my glasses that are sliding down my nose up all the time. And I want to wear my cool sunglasses 😀

I've worn glasses for years. There was a long period -- almost 20 years -- when I wore contacts. But when it got to the point where I was looking at (no pun intended) contacts for distance and reading glasses I said to hell with it and got bi-focals.

I do, I have like -10 eyes too 🙁 I tried wearing hard contacts because they act as "retainers" but I just couldn't, so I tried soft and I couldn't. Now I don't mind wearing glasses but I am hoping my eyes don't so bad I can't get laser eye surgery. How was that paldo? My doc said I had to wait until my eyes stopped changing to get it (I am 19 and they are still changing and probably will for a few more years... when do eyes normally stop changing?).

Glasses since I was 2. I'll never convert! Yeah I had what they called a lazy eye also astigmatism. So I had three operations on my left eye. Pretty sick when they told me what they did. So for 21 years now (wow! damn that's a long time!)

Anyone here have to wear the pirates eye patch? hehehe

I wear mostly contacts, though sometimes I will wear glasses.

One of these days I want to get my vision fixed. I'm one of those lucky people who fall into the category of having eyesight so bad, I'm at higher risk for retinal detachment. Last eye exam, the doc saw "elevated pressure and a slump"...basically a warning sign if impending detachment I think. So far so good though, nothing's gotten worse.

I wear designer glasses, but it was purely by chance. They were the only pair in the whole store that fit my criteria: fit my large head (literally, not figuratively), were oval and had the flex hinges. As for contacts, I only wear them when I'm playing sports. Glasses are expensive to replace if broken.

lemme get dis str8, some of you actually wear contacts WITH glasses?

anyway, waitin for the laser eye surgery to be perfect, then im gettin my eyes shined...

I wear glasses, woulda gone for contacts but the people told me that they would fall out while running the 100/200m so had to go for glasses. Laser is still not the best option because quite a few people complain about dryness in the eyes and poor night vision. I will probably go for it later in life after they perfect it.

i waer contacts during the day and whenever i go out biut when i am at home after school adn work i waer glasses to bive my eyes a break.
