Who wears glasses here? I just got a pair yesterday. They have pretty nice frames too.

You're not the only one...i've gone from 20/15 to 20/40 in about 2 years...

i wear them only when i need to, i can drive fine without them night or day, but when in class for example or i have to see details that are far away them i do need them.

I've been staring at screens for 6 or 7 years and my vision hasn't deterioated at all. I think all that is a myth.

I've worn glasses since I was 4 years old. I occasionally wear contacts, but allergies keep them out of my eyes most of the time damnit. BTW, my contact power is -7.50 .. I've been thinking about the laser surgery, but I'm going to wait a few more years and hope that by then they can restore your eyes back to perfect 20/20.

I used to wear glasses but haven't for the last 30 years or so. I hated them when I had them though. They made me look like a freakin' nerd!

I'm nearsighted in one eye, farsighted in the other. Together, they compensate for each other and I can see just fine. They're not bad enough that the BMV thinks I need to wear them, and I haven't caused any problems for myself or anybody else by not wearing them. The only downside is that from time to time my eyes get tired and they blur just a tad, but never enough to cause trouble.

So, no I do not wear glasses.

But, like kami, I do wear my rather often. -kd5-
