Who Here Supports Legalized Gay Marriage?

really? i would think you'd jump at the chance to legally get married.

oh, and nice quick edit. for those who didn't read the original:
vladbot: "i think it's a horrible idea"

Uh.........

Don't you guys think you're taking it a little too far? Everytime someone asks a "heated" question, they're a troll?

Whatever.

Anyway, yes, I support "gay marriages", "civil unions", or whatever the hell else you want to call it. We have no right to deny homosexual couples the same social rights and benefits that a conventional couple gets. All it means is that they're operating as a single unit.

What the hell is the big deal? Mind your own business. It is of no concern to you.

Our country is run by religious wackos. :frown:

His original flamebait post was simply:

"I think it's a horrible idea"

can't get much more trollish than that.

I guess. I didn't see it, heh.

Good catch.

Just another n00b troll.

It's not like this hasn't been asked at least once a week with a poll.

I support it, because not only does it not directly affect me, I am all about personal freedom. If you deny people freedom, then this country was founded on a lie.

you can support people freedom, but it has to be within limits. Like someone may argue that walking ont he street naked is people freedom, and it's not.

I have to agree with this. I think the government and the people have more important things to worry about than whom is marrying whom.

Besides, being legally married doesnt change anything except that the state recognizes the fact they are a single unit as Eli said. Most would still live together for the rest of their lives with or without legalization of it.

Just another stupid issue from another selfish special interest group that will further divide the American people while the barbarians continue to gather at the gates...

I personally think it is not a very smart act by the Massachusets State Legislature.

you obviously have no clue what is going on if you think the legislature is in control up there.

No.

Walking down the street naked affects people. Gay people getting married affects only those being (allowed) to get married, and in beneficial ways.

It is discrimination. Period.

You may as well be saying white people can't marry black people. You're denying them the same basic rights, privileges and social benefits that a conventional man/woman couple gets.

It's discrimination, nomatter how you paint it, since it effects nobody except the gay people themselves.
