Who here owns a gun

What kind? Do you have a concealed weapons permit?
What kind of holster do you use ie. where on your person do you carry it?

most of mine are long gun types (shotguns and rifles). The only pistols I have aren't the "conceal-able" type.

if you're looking for concealed holsters, consider the situations you'll be in when concealing, type of clothing you normally wear, type of clothing people around you normally wear, and the type of firearm you want to conceal. If you wear a jacket or vest alot, a shoulder holster works well and offers a wide range of sizes. If you're into single layers, look at a belt bag with a concealed pocket. If your main concern is while traveling, a cross draw holster that's on your belt works well for easy access from a sitting position. There are several "inside-the-pants" types of holsters but unless you're a skinny dog, they ain't the most comfortable 😱 .

best solution is to visit a decent gun store and look at their options and talk with a salesperson

I have several, one of my favorites is a Walther PPK Stainless. No I don't carry it as Illinois doesn't allow conceled carry. But its small enough to just put in a pocket.

RGN! That's what I've been carrying too. I love my PPK! It's accurate, lite, easy to carry... may not have a lot of stopping power, but it's nice just for the sheer convenience of it. I carry mine in a belt pack or shoulder holster, depending on what clothes I wear. Hehehe, plus there's the bonus of all my cop buddies calling me Bond when they see me. 😉

If I'm actually on duty (which is rare), I carry my Glock 29 10mm. Now that is stopping power. 🙂 I have both shoulder and belt holsters for it, depending on situation. It's been a great pistol and I highly recommend it.

Edit: and yes, I have a CC permit.

I own a Sig Sauer 229, in .40 caliber. I have neither a CC permit, nor a carry holster. It's strictly for home defense, and not a carry piece.

All Liberals are now arming to prevent the takeovwr of the Gov. Oh wait, the the NRA stood by and already let that happen.

Dont own one, but I got to shoot an AK47 rifle (NO JOKE!) when I went to Vietnam. It was incredible!!!

There is a shooting range by Poconos. They have all kinds of guns. all u have to do is purchase the bullets and be trigger happy. 9mm magnum is powerful!

TC Contender w/ 44mag & .223 14". I use my .177 pellet more though. The 44 make to much noise in my bedroom and the neighbors complain. 🙂

If you become a cop they give you a nice new gun and lots of ammo. You also get to play with lights and sirens and drive fast alot. No need for a CCW. It's nice to play all day and get paid for it!

I own a Browning Buckmark .22, but I don't carry it and don't have a CC permit.

I also have a .22 rifle, 12ga shotgun, and a 20ga shotgun.

i have lots of guns.....the one i carry....if i do....which isn't often is a springfield .45 ACP
also a ruger p99....sometimes

I have a Ruger P89 9mm. Damn big gun, and I'd like to replace it with something smaller. I don't have a concealed permit but will likely acquire one depending on where we move to. I have an Uncle Mike's holster for it though.

I've been eyeing a Sig Sauer small .45 (P245? can't remember exact name), and it felt really good in my hand at a local store. The Ruger is too big for my hands (can't reach the slide release without shifting my hand).

I also have a Ruger 10/22 .22 rifle. Fun little plinker. Next acquisition is going to be a shotgun or a long gun like a 30/30 or a bolt action.
