Own a 30.06 Winchester rifle that I use during deer season and a 12 guage Remington for rabbit and squirrel hunting!!
 
I can't believe people who say they won't get a gun. That's weird to me. There's a lot of scum around. It can also be more dangerous to cower in retreat than reply robustly. Not owning a gun doesn't mean scum go away. Sure if America didn't allow guns then it would be safer, but even then I'd always look for the edge in looking after myself- I'd keep my boot or belt knife.
