Who here loves French onion soup?

I think I have a gallon of it frozen in the freezer from last winter. When it starts getting cold outside I really start getting into the soups and stews.

Yum, as long as it does have the slice of cheese-encrusted bread at the bottom of the bowl.

For the Asian-American variety Annie Chun's Udon soup bowl is green onion noodly goodness.

I had it when I was in France and it was awesome.. The people who I was with were all grossed out and all of the food that was there. Needless to say I took all of their portions =)

local restaurant has crispy (I think toasted) beard in the french onion soup topped with melted cheese. Taste very good.
