I played football in Junior High,Senior High and in College but quit after I blew my knee out. I liked hockey better because you could beat the crap out of people and get away with it 😉

Ausm

You definitely have never played on the line or the defensive front 7.

WTF are you talking about I was an ofensive guard and it was no where near as violent as hockey.

Ausm

hockey can be more violent than football, but thats only because you bring in the issue of speed and sticks....with football its just you and the other man...

I played football my sophmore year of HS. Until that point I had wrestled only and when I went to my first few games, I hated it. Too much blame bull$hit going on. In wrestling if you fail, you blame yourself. In football, it seemed, you blamed everyone BUT yourself for failing unless it was an open field tackle or something. QB crying about the RB fumbling. CB crying about the safety, etc. I couldn't stand it.

The other problem I had was the coach didn't like me because I was the FNG on the squad. It was my first time playing organized football, so I didn't quite fit in. It didn't help that the SOB made me a wide receiver despite the fact that I was only 5'7" and weighed about 135 pounds. I did run a 4.4 sec 40 though, so I was fast. Should have played DB of some kind probably.

4.4 is bogus. BTW.

i dont think a lot of NFLers can even run a 4.4.

No, it is possible, alot of people I played with could run around there. 4.3-4.6 I never could mind you, but I know some people i played with who can.

yeah there were a few on my team that ran a 4.45 and the quickest a 4.3

I ran a 4.7
my stats for the weightroom my senrior year, I got iron chief also at the end of the year

Squat: 510SL
Powerclean: 410SL
Bench: 325 SL

but it was never like that on my team...anyone who wasnt a team player was hated and usually quit....and the scrubbs as someone said were cut...none of that BS hanging around not doing anything just so you can say you played...

You kill me on the bench lol, When I got around 300 I tore my rotary cuff, and havnt been able to push past 200 since than. 🙁

ouch they take forever to heal and are easy to reinjure 🙁

Yeah, even today I still can't sleep on my right side, and curls are 50 pounds less on my right side.

I played up through my Sophomore year in HS. Played guard/tackle on offense and defensive end on the other side of the ball.

Played both special teams too. Having a school of 220 TOTAL students makes your teams kinda small. 😛 Had to play iron man the whole way.

My Junior and Senior year I switched to cross country. That's where the women were.

wow stfu and leave my thread 😛...ripped, yeah okay compared to twinker bell...I remember the LaX players from my school (and they were good, won state twice) but they were still a bunch of pansies for lack of a more NSFW word

I played for a small league around here, since almost no high schools had football teams around here. The ones that did were were quite a distance away. I was really into football up until about half way though hs when I stopped growing. 5'3" 140 limited my opportunies. I probably could have played soccer in that frame, but I wasn't agile, just fast. Twenty five pounds later, I find myself playing basketball recreationally now. Strange.
