Please try not to list your part-time job at the mall, McDs, BK, etc....
But speaking of McDs, I certainly do think I have one of the most thankless job in here as I'm a store manager for a McDonalds.
Lets see here where do I begin? Lets me just tell you some of the stuff I have to deal with.
* I work anywhere from 50-60 per week.
* I get constant visits from my superior and my field consultant making sure that the store is running within McDs guidelines. And I get graded for this.
* Everyday, I have to worry if my managers are going to show up for work. If any of them call out, guess who has to work ?
* Making sure the store are properly staffed. Imagine trying to maintain about 40-50 QUALITY employees for the store.
* Have to make sure I make my LABOR and FOOD COST cost guidelines.
* We get a mystery shopper every month.
Basically the worst part of the job is that I'm always on my toes. I never know if someone is going to come by and check out the store.
If anything is wrong with the store, its my A$$.
It sucks when you don't even have moments of relaxation on your days off.
Thats just the way I feel because I this fear of my store operating like crap when I'm not there.
All this stress over a $34,000 base + bonus(around 4k-5k).
I will get this hugh car allowance once my 1yr tenure is up but can I last that long ???
I would get into another field but the economy is so bad right now that should stick around a while longer.
