I have this alarm. It's nice because it has 2 units for each side of the bed, so me or my gf doesn't have to disturb the other to hit snooze or turn it off. It also has the "ramp up" alarm. It starts off low and gets louder and louder. Plus, if you put in a real bassy CD, you can shake yourself awake with the little sub under the bed. 😉

The only thing that sucks is that it's very non-intuitive to set the alarms, etc. Once you get the hang of it it's ok, but it's a pretty stupid design putting most of the important buttons in the CD compartment. 😕

BTW, this used to be the Nakamichi SoundSpace 3, I think Sharper Image bought the design.

$200 for an alarm clock :Q.

I have come to loathe the sound of my alarm clock, It's old, so its shrill is rather sickly, it strikes the core of my brain
like an axe splitting old dry kindling, not at all pleasant, needless to say it gets me up, but in a torturous way.

The worst is when I'm in the shower and it starts to go off because I've set the snooze and forgotten, I must then make the most difficult decision of leaving the warmth of the shower to run naked to turn it off or endure it's shill siren while I finish my shower.

I hate waking in the mornings, I liken it to leaving the womb, It's warm an comfortable all snuggled in your blankets not a care in the world then blamo screeeeeeeeech.........creeeeeeeeeeeeech......... screeeeeeeeeeeech...........
