the most annoying one was my friends who has a pig alarm clock and in a real high pitched voice yells-
"WAKE UP! TIME FOR MORNING EXCERCISES!" over and over and over
 
i used to tune my clock radio to static at a loud volume
that will get you up quickly.
now im using an alarm clock i found in the parking lot outside my apt complex.
it does its job.
 
I have two. One goes off 5 minutes earlier then the other one. It plays music. The other one which goes off later has a regular alarm. Wakes me up enough.

Seems a lot of the newer ones have 2 alarm settings, Mine will start beeping at 5:15... and I'll normally snooze it a couple times, then at 5:45 the radio comes on.... and that one I rarely snooze.... so I can be up by 6.00 approx...
 
At college my room mate and I used the computer as an alarm clock. Nothing gets ya up quicker than Serj Tankin screaming "pushing little children, with their fully automatics, they like to push the weak around!"
 
my old roommate cranked some Mortal Kombat song that started with a gong as his alarm, but it never woke HIM up... Eventually I threw Duct Tape at his head cuz i got tired of it. 😀
 
i had a good one that would get progressively louder with an annoying beeping sound..so the longer you let it go the louder it go...and it got pretty loud..no way you could sleep through that

too bad it broke 🙁
 
My first-year roommate. Old-school ringing style, but so ear-piercingly loud that it sends you flying straight up out of bed. Unless you're me. I can sleep through the Apocalypse.

Best alarm clock in the world has four paws and a cold nose. Comes in Dog or Cat models. 😛

heh... funny story about that one... a couple years ago one of my roomates had a couple cats. One of my friends was staying the night and in the morning the cat pounced onto him, landing on his... well... "goods" if you will. the cats claw actually drew blood. heh, that will wake ya up

Wouldn't be that hard to hook up a car horn to an alarm clock... relay, 12v inverter...

Get the one with the animal sounds, and DIXIE!
 
yea my cat starts yeowin its head off at pretty much the same time everymorning (weekends included)
outside the door, headbutting sometimes

yea annoying wakeup sound settings gets u out of bed much faster


anyone see 'rules of attraction', the girl's alarm clock starts bellowing some soft 'wake up it's a nice day' song
 
Me = sleeps through my alarm going off with static, and TV blasting with static (TV has an alarm). Nothing will ever wake me up.
