1st, nor Brady or anybody else "lobbied" the ref for the call, contact with ANY QB's head draws a flag, period. Secondly the "little infant wimp" as absorbed many, many huge hits and got back up after every one with the exception of a season-ending ACL tear. You sound butt-hurt he scorched your secondary last week into a 20MPH wind when PM couldn't do much with it..

Oh please you know damn well Brady has gotten calls to go his way over the entire course of his career. Hell the ACL you are talking about created yet another rule.

False, it got called "The Brady rule" because he was the last QB to get a torn ACL, the rule was actually in response to Carson Palmer's season-ending injury in 2006,
"On January 8, 2006, the Bengals met their division rival Pittsburgh in the first round of the AFC playoffs at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

On the Bengals' first pass play, Carson Palmer threw a 66-yard pass to rookie receiver Chris Henry. It was the longest completion in Bengals playoff history. After Palmer released the pass, Steelers defensive tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen was pushed from behind while diving for Palmer, violently wrenching Palmer's knee, and he was forced to leave the game. A magnetic resonance imaging test revealed a severe knee injury, thought to be career-threatening at the time; Palmer had tears of both the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments as well as cartilage and meniscus damage. The Brady-hate is so strong people like to ignore the fact the rule was already in place when he got hit. Really, I don't get it, despite a mediocre showing last week I've always had the deepest respect for PM as a great, HOF QB, why the hate for Brady is so severe I don't understand, I've never heard him disrespect another player or team, ever..

The hate is for his attitude. He throws tantrums on the sideline and on the field. He has a ton of talent but his shitty attitude makes him a terrible qb in my mind.

He's a competitor that hates to lose and yes, in the early games this season was showing his ass when his receivers dropped multiple balls or ran the wrong route, he admitted to his own shortcomings in that area and it stopped. Manning is also cut from the same cloth in that regard, he expects the rest of his offense to play correctly and will also "correct" someone when they fail to do so, to his credit he manages to do so in a less emotive, less rampage than Brady does..

You know who else threw tantrums and yelled at his teammates? Michael Jordan. This is well documented, too.

Terrible quarterback is the one that loses games. Brady is opposite of terrible.

I don't think the coaches have any clue on how to fix the issues they're having. This was the perfect game to make a statement and they squandered that opportunity against a mediocre opponent.

Oh, and bye bye Heyward-Bey. You won't be on the roster next year.
 
I can not believe the officiating in the Bears/Vikes game.

I don't see a conspiracy; why would the NFL want a 2-8 Vikings team to beat the Bears, who are fighting for a playoff spot? But it's really gone off of the reservation. Sometimes it seems to snowball on ref crews.

The Texans still have a lot of talent on their roster and a lot of the losses have been close games, they damm near beat Seattle awhile back. Meanwhile the Patriots defensive woe's continue, specially against the run giving up 121yds today. Some credit to Keenum who got out of the pocket and made some nice throws today, without Gostkowski's huge day (2 53yd FG's) they probably beat the Pat's today.

Yet, all his teammates rally around him. He's the first one at the stadium and last one to leave. He's the undisputed leader of the team. Terrrible QB? Then you don't know football.

It's also the reason when he's down 24 points, he doesn't believe the game is over.

Good point, maybe the fact he F**k's models as a hobby makes a lot of people jelly and the media does give him a lot of attention, (but they do for Peyton as well). I can sum it up as this, we're lucky to have had a chance to watch two HOF QB's the last 10 years do their thing, I've never missed a game on TV when either PM or TB is playing, I love football that much, hell, I never missed a Marino game despite a lot of them were him smoking our secondary LOL...
 
Ugh.

Glad the Bear's season is (in all practical terms) over. After watching good defense my entire time as a Bear's fan this is too much to take.

Now they can really assess what needs to be done and start over from the defensive side of the ball. I think with Cutler back next year the offense will be fine.

If thats true, then great! That was my big complaint against him. If he manned up, then good for him.

I just don't see how anyone can stand behind a supposed leader acting like that. He was literally on the sideline yelling at no one earlier this year. That game cemented my contempt for him.

That's why I added the "in my mind" disclaimer. Only an idiot would argue that he doesn't have talent. He is one of the best players of all time. But being a qb is more about attitude than anything else in my eyes. They are the absolute leader and throwing tantrums is something a terrible leader would do.
