Who else is sick?

I usually go for Slurpees when I have a sore throat.

I figure the cold can numb the soreness and help with swelling.... and even if it doesn't really do those things... I like 'em.

Lots of Advil too.

I have a sore throat but its far from being bad, more like an annoying throat. I got it a few days ago while sking but ill get over it. I think I just gave it to my brother and if thats the case my dad should be coming down with it soon too.

Yep, I've been sick since yesterday. Must be something bad going around (Way around.. I guess considering I'm in Texas)
Progression so far has been: Sore throat -> Really bad sore throat -> Stomach aches -> Vomiting -> Really bad stopped up nose + headache + joint aching

I pretty much slept all day on the 26th. Now I feel decent enough to function (Still have stuffy nose) so it'll probably be another 1-2 days before I'm all well. Colds are so inconvenient

Ya, gotta cold here too. It started with just a dry throat in the morning a couple of days in a row and then my nose plugged up. I've been blowing or wiping it every minute or two for hours on end the last couple of days and it's moving into my throat more now. Grrr... watched the first season of Lost, heh. It sucks, BTW. I was anticipating an interesting plot but no, it's all voyeurism into random peoples' messed-up lives. (/rant)

Same here man. I think its a US conspiracy to get everyone sick during the Christmas break! Practically my whole family has the same symptoms!

My entire family got sick, but they all eat terrible.

I've been unsick for the last 2 months. My sister got sick twice, my parents have been sick for like 4 weeks with the same thing, and my sisters husband got sick too.

I've had this since Christmas morning, just starting to go away now it's horrible. Yesterday I ate about 100 cough drops. I tried all the home remedies, but just had to wait it out. Unless you're fortunate enough to live in country where over the counter codine in cold pills is legal. You can also try gargling with hydrogen peroxide a one to one mix with water, that will kill anything in the back of your throat, break up all the mucus and make your mouth fizzle.
