Who did you root for in the movie "Heat"

I didn't get heat at all. It's a cops and robbers movie, some people heist something, bigshot cops does something, another heist, etc. For the first half the the movie, I thought the criminal mastermind(Rober DeNiro) and the cop(Al Pacino) were the same person.

BTW, did you know that in the umeditied version of the movie, Lt. Vincent Hanna and Nate (the Bar Tender played by Jon Voight), know each other and Hanna brings Nate down as well.

welp, looks like a new special edition of Heat may NOT be in the works. the story that was originally reported was based off a rumor, and it was actually a survey given to a suncoast employee to see if he's ever heard of a list of movies and to gauge his interest in them if they ever decide to pursue a special edition. the message was then taken out of context and submitted as a scoop, when in fact it was meant to be placed in the rumor mill. 🙁
