I totally HATED how that movie ended! They should have left an opening for a possible Heat2! Both actors are awesome.it was imho one of the besat films I've ever seen.

watch 2 days in the valley. Charlize b00bies + ice = yay!!
 
Well...for DeNiro's character to get away would have meant Pacino's character's life would probably just spiral downward, since his daughter attempted suicide and his latest wife was banging some other guy and was going to leave him.

Soo...something had to turn around for him...that something being getting DeNiro's character in the end.



That said, I loved how he ditched Amy Brenneman's character in a heartbeat....true to his word. WOW!
 
I like the part in the movie where Pacino is interviewing that convict. He says something like, "what are you a fvcking monkey??" hehe, it was pretty funny
 
Pacino's character between the two. It really made me sad to see Dennis Haysbert's character(the ex-con working at a diner) make the wrong, and inevitable, choice though.

One of the greatest movies EVAR! I was rooting for Deniro all the way. It was a bitter sweet ending. 🙁

Edit: Now thinking about this movie I gotta go buy it on DVD. Off to CC!
