Who could be a good Superman?

Well in honor of the release of the Superman DVD, I've been thinking about which actor would make a good Superman in case they ever remake the movie.

BTW, I feel really old! I can't believe it's been 22 years since it came out. Superman: The Movie was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. I remember getting chills down my spine when I saw the opening credits. And it was the first movie in which I really noticed the musci score. I even bought the movie soundtrack and I remember constantly playing the music over and over to relive the movie in my mind. Now I own the DVD and can watch the movie again!

Anyways, I have always thought that Christopher Reeves made the perfect Superman. He just looked so right for the part. Unfortunately I think his Clark Kent is a little too whimpy and nerdy now. I prefer the Clark Kent interpretation from Dean Cain (of Lois & Clark). His Clark Kent is based more on the John Byrne interpretation of the Superman legend.

Anyways, if they remade Superman again, who do you think would make a good Superman?

David Boreanaz, I think, could also pass as Superman/Clark Kent...
