I didn't quite hit that much but don't do the "tigers" one. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but the sentences are fragmented and the capitalization isn't all correct which threw me off.

You got me curious so I just tried that one, the tigers in the wild... first try, 114 with 6 errors, for a score of 108

This was my second one, using a different set. I tend to correct errors I make so it's not a raw WPM.

Muhahaha, 125. This time I tried the one called "the enchanted typewriter" for the first type.

You know there is only one outcome of a thread like this... someone tooting their own horn in the way I am. Someone's going to show up who completely destroys the living shit out of me, and whom I am hopeless to catch up to no matter how many times I try.

But I am going to enjoy the hubris while it lasts.

They're out there, but 125 WPM is damn fast. But just to keep you humble:

The fastest typing speed ever, 216 words in one minute, was achieved by Stella Pajunas in 1946 on an IBM electric.

Apparently some people can send Morse Code at 60 WPM. Now THAT'S impressive.

Clearly... I must find the crypt of Stella Pajunas and do battle with her ghost, at which point she will undoubtedly drop a necklace or something which confers +50 wpm

If I'm really lucky she'll also unleash a quickening Highlander style and I'll get another +50 wpm from that juice. There can be only one.

i tried a few more times a while ago but keep getting interrupted. couldn't get higher than 120wpm.

you are winning the battle right now!

If you do surpass my 125 you can rest assured I will do *nothing* else until I've regained my crown.

and the thing is, I know I can do better. I've been having to use the backspace key a lot to correct errors. I've done these tests before without ever having to use the backspace or only once or twice... I bet I can break 130 fo sho.

Just waiting on you to give me a reason :)
