NICE!!!! I was trying to think who from those books I would pick. It's a hard choice though, you gotta love Fid and Kal. And of course Whiskeyjack.

Edit:

Have either of you 2 gotten Reaper's Gale yet? I had to order it from the UK so I could read it earlier.

Thanks for reminding me! I ordered both 'Midnight Tides' and 'The Bonehunters' from the UK back before their US releases.

Have you read either of his novellas that take place in the Malazan Empire?

The novellas are awesome.

The two bauchelain / korbal brooch books are pretty funny (in a dark way).

Esselmon't novella, Night of Knives, was AMAZING. DEFINITELY give that one a read (BEFORE you read Bonehunters)

Quick Ben is pretty damn awesome; I like Karsa Orlong and Anomander Rake.

Paran's a pretty slick bastard too, in that unassuming way.

I ordered my autographed copy of Reaper's Gale, should arrive any day now

Snap, I forgot one of the best, Atreyu ("the Neverending Story" the book, not the movie, although the first movie was decent)

**EDIT**

Oops, and Robert Langdon (DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons)

Only one of them and it was ok. I think it was the Healthy Dead. I'm not sure on the other one because Erikson didn't write them.

If anyone recognizes these characters, I'll eat my hat.

Enjoy your hat ;)

If you didn't Google it, I congratulate you on your fine taste in literature. Consider my hat eaten. :)

I didn't ! I actually know the Corey character only. 'Night Fall' and 'Wild Fire' successfully got me back into books. What's your favorite DeMille's one ?
