I have been reading the Song of fire and ice series and have a few favorite characters

Tyrion the imp for his witty comebacks and his scheming which has gotten him out of many rough situations and I also want to see what he does for revenge whenever the new books come out.

Petyr Baelish since it seems he is behind basically almost everything that has happened thus far in the story, yet no one would suspect he is the mastermind

I like Tyrion, but I hate Petyr. Arya is my favorite though.

Tyrion is great.

Honorable mention: Remo Williams from the Destroyer books, Silk from Edding's books, Pug from Feist's books, Yossarian from Catch-22, James Bond.

Although I found the movies more tolerable than the book, I have always found a quiet nobility in the character of Chingachook (censor wont let me spell it correctly), in Last of the Mohicans.

John Corey, Paul Brenner or Sam Hollis.

If anyone recognizes these characters, I'll eat my hat.

John Galt
Howard Roarke

I know they're robotic and inhuman but that's why I love them. That's just how I'm wired.
