Finally, baseball is done. Now we get six glorious weeks until ESPN starts talking about it again.

I don't think so pal.. its HOT STOVE LEAGUE TIME...well.. in 15 days anyways. Baseball is a year round sport..thank god since I can't take football and basketball. Hockey I like though.

Congrats to the Sox. They played hard and well and beat out my Astros. *sniff*

If only the Astros had been capable of manufacturing runs. Ugh.

You would think the Astros would have freaking won at least one game. Jeez... how many fvckin runners did they leave on base?! It pissed me off. The Sox deserved to win. When you have that many runners on base, especially on 3 with no outs or 1 out, and you can't bring 'em in then you don't deserve to win.

Backe pitched his ass off and was clearly dominating... but our fvckin offense was a joke. Don't get me started on Lidge.... 3 blown games... all were crucial.

The Sox didn't beat us. We beat us. I mean it's not like the Sox blew us out. The games could have gone either way... its just that the when we made a mistake the Sox would capitalize on it. Heartbreaking too. Though I gotta tip my hat off to the Sox. They won because they were patient and capitalizing on our mistakes.

Oh well.... there's always next year. Congrats to the Sox

I cannot put into words the depth of my hatred for baseball.

🙁 For Houston Astros, but both teams really did their best this year.

Being #2 isn't so bad.

Losing the World Series in 4 games does not put you at #2.

It puts you in last place.

so hold up, the world series is over now?

YYEESS!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY FOX TV WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL!!!!!

* > Nascar > Baseball

1. Nascar sucks * infinity
2. Fox is never normal. Too many annoying sound effects.

which in turn gives us the next equation ...

(Nascar sucks * infinity) > (Baseball sucks * infinity)

and yes, prison break will now be back on regularly, as will the family guy, as will House.

Mets are stupid for signing a career .270 hitter who had one good postseason. I don't understand why sports franchises sign guys after just one good year.
The Mets are just a mess. They overpaid for Beltran who had one spectacular postseason (and several decent seasons) and they also traded away their top pitching prospect Scott Kazmir for Victor ZamBroken who has always had control problems. Trading for Mo Vaughn was another stupid move years back because he spent majority of his time on the DL and they knew he was damaged goods. Initially I thought the Pedro signing was bad but he can still flat out pitch. The Kris Benson signing was bad in my opinion. He's not a bad pitcher but he's not good either. For someone who generally hovers around the .500 mark in wins and losses, he sure commanded a lot of money.
