White Russian?

My basic go-to white russian:

8oz glass filled with ice
1 shot of vodka
1/2 shot of kahlua
fill to top with half/half
stir

tastes great every time.

Black russian (in parts):
3 vodka
2 kahlua
White russian, add 1 part milk (pref 2%)

I say mess with the amounts until you find what you like. I personally think that equal amounts of kahlua (or whatever coffee liquor you like) and vodka yields way too sweet of a taste. I skimp on the coffee and beef up the vodka part to give it the bite I like. YMMV, but my recipe for a good Caucasian is to be sparing with the sweet stuff.

For ladies I tend to mix 1/4 Vodka, 1/4 Kahlua, and 1/2 half-n-half. For guys (or female lushes) I'll toss in between half-again and twice as much vodka.

i prefer black russians... but for a white, i'll do like.. 2:1 vodka:coffee liqueur, and then a couple ounces of halfnhalf..
