Oh, I ordered 100 30 round mags for the AR last week for precisely this. At $7 a piece, I hope to make between a 500-1000% profit on each one.

Brilliant move by Obama. Push gun control after Republicans take control of the house. This guy grow up under power lines or did grandma drop him on his head?

Anyways this is pointless. The laws were in place but they cant work if nobody reports the guy needed to be evaluated.

Or the sheriff doesn't arrest him when he commits felonies such as threatening peoples lives.

I like that he sticks with his principles and does what he things is right even if it will be unpopular. Strong leadership.

LOL. The only reason he is thinking about this is because it won't go anywhere, it's an empty gesture from an empty suit.

Exactly. This whole deal just shows the impotence of the left, and the entire anti-gun movement as a whole. There are laws in place already to deal with the circumstances of the Giffords tragedy, but instead of seizing on enforcing existing laws, the ineffectual left tries to expand their already failed agenda.

I hate to break it to you but that might not have been the best investment strategy considering the House and the overall move of the country/states to lessen gun control on law abiding citizens.

Yep. This is a lose/lose proposition for Obama. The last decade support for less gun control/laws has only grown in almost every state. It will only hurt him.

Never interrupt the enemy when he is making a mistake, and this would be a HUGE one.

Its win-win for me. I love having tons of mags for my AR pre-loaded for outings. I wanted them anyway, as its always good to have plenty of spares. They were cheap as hell, and if by some chance a mag law goes into effect I will make bank.

win all around

Obama is a fool. It will never pass because of the House and he will only piss off gun owners.

Lose/Lose

what you meant to say is win/win.
2 more years of obama stalemate... then we get a real president from the correct party.

Maybe but empty gestures in the right direction are better than nothing at all.

That is currently basically a club.

We have already been over this, no you don't.

Already can't.

It's still far to open over there, I don't know what you mean by "going over this" yes I do.

I'd love to see you come at me while I'm holding my shotgun and you've got a club. :ninja:

So do the people who do not want him to win reelection...

I would rather he was an unpopular one term president who fought for what he believed than a popular two term president who swayed in the wind with what was popular.

Lol, a 100 spares? My fingers would be bleeding from loading them all. I have quite a few spares too, back when ammo was cheaper it meant a hellofa lot more shooting at the range before I had to reload. I sold most of them not long after the election when prices went apeshit and bought them back not long ago. I sure don't have 100 ready to go though.

You'd be surprised at what people are doing behind the scenes, and in the grassroots right now. I don't know if you know what the Hughes Amendment is, or the controversy behind it, but it could be an interesting thing in the next few years.

I only had a few, so I wanted a bunch more. I got them crazy cheap. Always good to have more incase lips get bent, springs go bad, etc. I keep about 40-50 loaded and have the rest sitting in my trunk of gun equipment.

Take guns away from the cops. That way it will fair for citizens that will have no weapons. Otherwise cops can just shoot you, and you cant do anything about it.

Obviously you know a ton, I bet you think just "rack'n" that unloaded shotgun of yours is plenty enough to scare off an armed intruder. I am too lazy to pull up the posts from the other thread but you have already demonstrated your lack of knowledge.

I'd love to see you come at me while I'm holding my shotgun and you've got a club. :ninja:

We have already addressed this too, you have no shells for your shotgun so it is basically a big club. You hold that unloaded shotgun like a shotgun and I come at you with a club and you will get clobbered.

I would rather he was an unpopular one term president who fought for what he believed than a popular two term president who swayed in the wind with what was popular.

As I said, so would the other side.

There's no maybe to it. After the AWB sunset, and the streets didn't run red with blood, the meat of the progressive fear mongering rotted. Only the true fools are clinging to the idea that banning high capacity magazines will do anything to stop something like the Giffords tragedy in the future.

Wtf is "rack'n"... On a side note, my ownership of a shotgun with no amunition doesn't show a lack of knowledge about guns... It shows I don't need a shotgun loaded in my home.

We have already addressed this too, you have no shells for your shotgun so it is basically a big club. You hold that unloaded shotgun like a shotgun and I come at you with a club and you will get clobbered.

OH! I See. you're talking about my unloaded shotgun, that makes more sense, luckily I don't own a shotgun for self defence.. So this point is irrelevant.

I don't know what the AWB sunset is, but you're right banning high capacity magazines does nothing, banning guns is the only way.

Sort of like the House Republicans voting to repeal Healthcare, except hundreds of empty suits?

The Assault Weapons Ban was allowed to sunset, which means it went away, and the streets didn't run red with blood because the entirety of it was based on lies, and stupidity, which people like you lapped up.

How is "banning guns" going to stop criminals from getting guns? I'd love to hear your answer, but you don't have one that doesn't involve fairies and unicorns.
