This is all over the news but this one FOX article is set up with pretty graphics and a short amount of text for FOX readers to comprehend. I'm sure trump will act on this with tweets and executive orders. Something like the -no more condoms & birth control or early withdrawal act of 2018? Or maybe campaign slogans like Hump for Trump! ?

"Deaths of non-Hispanic white people now outnumber births in the majority of U.S. states for the first time ever between 2015 and 2016, new data released by the U.S. Census Bureau show.

The figures reveal that the country’s white population is aging rapidly – an average white American is 43.5 years old – as more whites postpone having children.

Meanwhile, minority populations in the U.S. are rising significantly faster thanks to immigration flows and younger population of Hispanic Americans, who are on average 29.3 years old.

According to the Census Bureau projection, whites in America will constitute less than 50 percent of the population around 2045, a demographic shift many have foreseen for a long time.

Not surprising. Millennials have no incentive to raise kids. They are buried in student debt, facing steep housing costs and working multiple jobs to cover their debts. When the younger generations aren't keeping pace with the dying ones you are going to see a gap form. Add immigration and birth rates in communities that are used to living in lower standards of living and it's easy to see why this is happening.

I'm not sure you're onto anything here, mate. Seems to me that the world is shuffling and white people are not a majority of the world. The more we mix, the more we mix, and so it goes. Seems more like a natural process, than anything linked to economics or age.

I've been saying this since 2016 when minority babies outpaced white babies for the first time. By 2040 there will be no more GOP. At least not a GOP obsessed with wealth stealing and minority bashing and one seriously relegated to background noise...

I need to re-read Ursula K Le Guin's Lathe of Heaven again. I remember the adaptation of it more than the book. One thing that happens is that every person on earth becomes gray (iirc the main character can dream reality and this was their way of trying to end racism...iirc).

The birth rates are falling in a lot of countries, not just American whites. It has happening even in third world countries.

I have to give credit to Lindsay Graham for bringing the subject up regarding immigration.
We’re not having enough kids to keep things going. This will be a long term problem. Immigrants are needed.
