I forgot to respond to this post. It's funny to me that you think growing up in a predominantly non-white neighborhood means you know what it is like to be an actual minority, as if not looking like most people around you is the only issue actual minorities have to deal with.
You're right as usual...I know nothing about being a minority. You are so full of yourself I can't believe it.

just answer for me as long as the question isn't "this is how we know what waggy must believe. do you agree"

skip to the end. maybe backtrack if we have any problems. I'm sure your answers would be fine.

or put me down for 5 yes's and 5 nos for the next 10 questions. then start with question 11.

Yes we mock things we think are correct? We can't skip ahead because we aren't communicating properly even at this insanely basic level. Please go back to my question in post 345 so there is no confusion.

Clearly you have no idea what you are reading. Otherwise, you would have correctly condensed this conversation down to:

DanK: I believe A
others: ur dum for believing B
DanK: I don't believe B, I believe A
others: wait do you believe A or B?
DanK: I believe A, not B
others: well I can't even talk to you because you believe B

No, I am sorry, but we are still experiencing confusion even at this level. For example, we have to explore why I think disprove was the proper word to use because you and Realibrad do not agree with it yet.

Moving on, we have established that Waggy was mocking Karen with his sarcasm. I believe people mock concepts we think are incorrect. I do not believe we mock concepts we think are correct. Would you agree? (Yes/No)

We mock concepts that we think are correct and we mock concepts we think are incorrect. I said put me down for Yes though. These questions aren't relevant anyway. but yes?

All of a sudden, you know exactly what Waggy was thinking. Interesting. You are only making my case for me, you just don't know it.

Then help me know it, and tell me you point. I think we would all like to know it.

We mock concepts we think are correct? Can you give me an example?

Says the guy who thinks he knows what it is like to "be a minority."
I grew up under different circumstances than most. I won't play rhetorical games with you on what the word "minority" means to you vs. what it meant to me growing up.

That is not an example, that is a name. Give me a specific example, please.

It's an example of people who mock concepts they think are correct. Do I really need to give you an example of him doing this? Just turn on the show. It's pretty good. Or just put me down for no, we don't do it, if that's easier.

I tried that several times and you misunderstood every single time.

You seem to be willing to take the time, so explain why my previous post was wrong. You seemed to understand it, and you said I was building your case, so explain further, instead of doing another 50 questions that seem to have done very little.

when he finally admits he's wrong, by page 90 or whatever, nobody will ever read his admission as few could think this thread worth reading anymore.

Thats not needed. A parody character should be enough to explain, so keep going.

I do not agree that mocking a person who mocks a concept we think is clearly correct counts as mocking a concept we think is correct, in the same way that I don't think mocking a concept we think is clearly correct counts as supporting the concept we think is clearly incorrect. He is mocking the mockers. He is only pretending to mock the concept.

That awful paragraph is going to bake some noodles... :hmm: It doesn't matter, we will move on as long as we can agree that Waggy was not in fact pulling a Colbert on us. Justoh, was Waggy mocking Karen because he thought the concept of white people not being able to teach African studies is incorrect? (Yes/No)

If anyone has paid attention they will say that you initially took what Waggy said as something other than his intent and now are too proud to admit you're wrong.

as I have read the entire thread from the beginning, that is precisely what has happened.

probably, yes
Probably? Are you afraid to confirm that Waggy was indeed mocking Karen? I do not understand your hesitation. What other possibility could there be? Are you so deathly afraid of the possibility that you might be wrong on this single insignificant issue that you can't just answer these questions honestly?

Fine...probably Yes...SMH

I believe that when Waggy made that post he believed that the logic Spungo had posited and he himself extended was part of the logic he used internally to arrive at the conclusion that Karen's position was incorrect. Do you agree? (Yes/No)

I didn't say Waggy said anything. I said he must believe a specific thing in order to post what he posted. You two are just clearly illustrating that you still do not even understand this simple conversation.
