Your body, your money... get whatever tattoo you like!

I'd bet there is at least one person in this thread that was a trend-whore and got either a lower back tattoo or the barb-wire/ivy arm tattoo. Being a trend-whore is more laughable to me than getting something others consider nerdy.
That's because you are a Nerd:thumbsup: (No I don't have any ink)

Yes, I am a nerd, but that is not why I feel that way. I like to see people thinking for themselves instead of doing whatever someone else tells them is cool.
So you believe that those with the trendy tattoos got them because someone told them it was cool? Have you ever considered that they saw them on another person and they themselves thought they were cool? If one was to listen to you wouldn't they be doing exactly what you accuse trendy people of doing?
what are your tattoos of?

I have no Ink.

Or maybe they got them there because it's easy to cover when necessary and it's one of the places on the body that isn't going to sag and wrinkle all that much as they age.

Just to give you more fodder, I just thought about getting Isaac Asimov's face done on my calf or thigh.

How about a Tat of Einstien on your taint?

Since you are a Star Trek geek then I recommend a tat of Captain James T. Kirk on your left cheek and Captain Jean Luc Pickard on your right cheek. This will provide a lifetime of "Klingon" jokes. :D

The emblem is not so geeky, I have a tribble tatooed right above my nuts.
a tribble or a tribal?

He's likely correct in that it's a tribble. As I understand it, a tribble is much smaller than the typical tribal design, similar to text and logos found on the typical #2 pencil. Being that it's right above his nuts, a tribble is probably the only thing small enough to fit. Pencil dick FTW!!

Actually I did the same search earlier. :) I didn't want to get too complicated with it. Short of the Enterprise (I don't think I'd ever actually get that), this is the closest thing to a logo for the show there is.

I wish I could draw. I'd have my body covered in no time; I have all sorts of grand ideas that I just can't express.

I think you should get a pink triangle under a rainbow :p
Seriously though, I like the second one better between those two.

My recommendation is to get the following tatoo:

A hot chick dressed in a skimpy leather bikini swinging a broad axe... and flames, lots of flames that just adds to it being badass.
