Which Presidents would you like to meet or have met?

I'd have to say Lincoln (as much as I dislike him overall) or Jefferson.

Lincoln because he was creative and he put up a good debate. He may have been bipolar... manic depressive people are cool.

Jefferson because he was the man of the people.

Of all the alive ex-presidents, I like Clinton's personality the most because he came to meet many people at their homes (or at least a damn good decoy did). Bush 41 was too much of an aristocrat, and Carter seems like he's too formal so I wouldn't want to meet them.

Edit: George W Bush had a better personality than his father, no matter how anti-social the former may have been.

Politics aside probably Clinton. Go cruising for chicks. Make fun of Hillary together. We could throw one hell of a party.

Andrew Jackson
I'd like to talk with him about paying off the national debt and the country going back into debt. I'd also like to speak with him about his views on a federal banking system.

The second issue I'd like to discuss was how the nation could reconcile the treatment of native americans during the country's expansion.

Lincoln - seems to have been the most personable President (though we know Clinton better we may disagree)

Andrew Jackson - what a hard nosed mother f'er

Teddy - another badass mother f'er

Washington - just to see him, his personality

Obama - just because I love that weird feeling when someone you know from TV is standing right there in front of you

George HW and George W both visited our work at separate times. I got to shake hands with George HW and Barbra.

In general, I look at politicians as necessary evils. Very few, if any, get to the positions they are at without completely forsaking any semblance of honor or ethics.

Most likely it would be Washington or Jefferson. Maybe Lincoln.

I've met Bush, Bush Sr, Clinton and Obama. They are all cool people, put their pants on like we do. I might disagree with most of them but that doesn't mean I refused to see them or shrug it off.

those that are dead I'd like to have seen the founders and JFK. JFK pretty much saved the world.

Washington, John Adams, Jefferson, and Madison - to get their perspectives on the founding of this country and their views on the role of the federal government. Lincoln, for similar reasons, given his pivotal role in history. Wilson, just so I could punch the arrogant, racist, progressive pig. If we could avoid politics, Clinton would probably be a total blast to hang with.

Toss up between Thomas Jefferson and Lincoln. I would have questions about the hypocrisy's of Thomas Jeffersons bold statements and the owning of slaves. I would have questions of Lincoln as to the real reasons he chose to free slaves, was it because he really did believe in all men being equal, and in equal treatment of men, or was it to really to win the war? Yea, I would have a lot of questions for both of them, and many other issues as well.

Lincoln openly expressed his opposition to slavery both on its legality and morality.
