I'd have to say Lincoln (as much as I dislike him overall) or Jefferson.
Lincoln because he was creative and he put up a good debate. He may have been bipolar... manic depressive people are cool.
Jefferson because he was the man of the people.
Of all the alive ex-presidents, I like Clinton's personality the most because he came to meet many people at their homes (or at least a damn good decoy did). Bush 41 was too much of an aristocrat, and Carter seems like he's too formal so I wouldn't want to meet them.
Edit: George W Bush had a better personality than his father, no matter how anti-social the former may have been.
