Really? Never had one, now I'm intrigued!Gluten-free cake can be just as good as normal. Gluten is the enemy of cake.

You tried the Katz brand ones from the freezer? Nuke em 20 seconds and they are pretty decent with coffee.I feel your pain bro. I haven't had a real donut in at least 4 years, since going gluten free. Sure, there's gluten free donuts, but it's just not the same.
I eat lots of the non fat oikos greek yogurt tho.
I've tried a decent amount of gluten free stuff because my sister avoids it so I try stuff when I am over there. Cake is one of the few things that can do well gluten-free, but that's within the context of being gluten free, it's still not as good as the real thing.

Kroger has a store brand called simple truth that has a GF basic yellow or chocolate cake mix. Flavor is great, the recipe calls for mix + oil/water and 4 eggs. The eggs make it rise so pan size, oven temp, and bake time are crucial. We're definitely going to make it again. It's gotten better over the years. Otto's cassava flour is the best on the market imo. There are some mixes (cup for cup replacement, pillsburgy, etc.) that are decent. I was off gluten for a number of years and it was...difficult.
I always call it leaded vs unleaded.Cold regular Coke is good for almost anything. No diet crap.
