Fun fact... I used to get paid to make donuts. All the donuts I wanted to eat, any time. That's why I hardly ever eat donuts anymore. Don't like soda much anymore either. I drank one last night, and was tired of it after two swallows.

The breakfast of champions is snus and coffee, with a swine and egg sandwich later on.

I read the OP and thought, "must be a futurefields thread. Everyone knows that as an adult, coffee with donuts. As a kid, milk with donuts." The thought of soda/pop with donuts makes me gag. That's like a week's worth of pure sugar all at once.

this should now be a contest to see all the gross food + drink pairings we can come up with.

Like, fried chicken and hot coffee.
or, chocolate ice cream and Dr. Pepper

Chocolate ice cream with Dr Pepper might not be too bad actually. I think you could make a float out of it.

I'd think that coffee goes with just about any meal, though it's not the best pairing for some meals. Except in the South; apparently you have to have diabetes inducing sweet tea with coronary artery disease inducing fried chicken. :p

Douche out the crack of a male prostitute, run the effluent through a used sanitary napkin ==> coffee.

o_O Coffee is nasty, but I am afraid to ask how you so precisely identified a parallel taste so specifically... and colorfully. Actually, never mind, I am sorry I asked.

I will never drink coffee again.

SMELT.

A fish; such as might be used to cut down the mightiest tree in the forest.

Or:

To melt ore in order to refine it into metal components.

Used as the past tense of smell is archaic, but correct.

I usually don't drink pop with donuts but when I do it's probably pepsi. I typically like donuts with hot chocolate or coffee.

And now I regret not stopping by Tim Horton's on my way to work today, because that would be good right now. :p
