Decision made: Palladium. Was hoping for actual reasons to sway me towards platinum, but none were given aside from social standards.
I chose off-topic since it doesn't really have to do with relationship advice, but more ring material. I've been talking to this jeweler for a custom engagement ring for a while now and the design and everything has been decided on. He's going to set a diamond that I'm providing.
Now, its time to make the decision which material he is going the make the ring in. You see the price differences.
$800 18k white gold
Taken out. Forgot her skin is easily affected. Doesn't even have earings.
$1100 palladium
Pro: White, hypoallergenic. Cheaper and lighter then platinum (can be pro or con).
Con: Not as widespread, some jewelers won't work in this material because they don't know it. Has to explain wtf palladium is.
$1600 platinum
Pro: Bling factor of name, white, hypoallergenic
Con: Expensive
What do you guys think?
Pics will be provided May 16 when I pick it up.
EDIT: Added advantages
EDIT2: Took out white gold, forgot about her sensitive skin
