I am leaning towards the Lexus IS250. My main wants are comfort and gas mileage, performance is a plus. Also, I am 6'2", so I need to fit in this car. I will primarily driving it to work which is 80% freeway, but it's only about 10 miles.

<edit>or should I keep my Avalanche???</edit>

I failed to mention how many miles a year I typically drive. I put about 15,000 miles on a vehicle a year. I take a weekend trip out of town about once a month. I also do a lot of running around on weekends locally. I'm open to just about anything, including downgrading to a cheap old car for work, and waiting a year to purchase a new sedan. I like how the Acura TL looks, and just about everything about it except for the FWD. I read there may be an AWD for '06.

those are not luxury sedans they are entry level foreign cars. .

EDIT:

I wouldn't get any of those with exception of a TL 3.2 type S

Since those are all entry level "luxury" sedans, I am going to have to go with the TL.

Kia Amanti!

Seriously though, my vote goes to the Acura.

The Mercedes is overpriced junk with poor reliability. My Passat has a higher quality interior than that car.

Get the C230 and as soon as the warranty runs out... sell it.

My C43 AMG was an amazing vehicle, but it was out of warranty and everything was breaking. It was a 1999 with a whopping 60,000 miles on the clock :(

Mercedes cars have a driving soul that no other car can ever match. I will have an E55 AMG once I can afford the proper upkeep.

The Acura is NOT a luxury sedan. It is a very nice car, but not a luxury sedan.

Go drive the Acura TL. Those are very nice cars. I'd take it over any of the cars on your list.
