Smoking is bad for you, nobody is arguing that one. Smoke in the lungs, any kind, can't be good for your lungs.

Yes, you'd be a healthier person if you never smoked anything (cleaner lungs) .. but not indulging in anything all your life cause you wanna live longer is a defeatist thing, because you're gonna die one day anyways. Who knows, you could die tomorrow, so why the fvck not have some fun and risk your body while your at it? I suppose you don't drive a car then either? Cause you know, a lot of people die in car accidents.

I had ALREADY countered the silly "can't O/D on weed, so it's good for you argument" and then joinT said it again, making him look silly.

It's clear who the biggots are in this thread, for anyone that reads the entire thread.

Almost ALL my posts are simply counter arguments to baseless "pot is good for you posts". Nowhere have i mentioned locking these people up and throwing away the key, as a matter of FACT i did mention the penalties are higher than they should be. So once again a pot supporter makes an a^^ out of himself assuming things about me. :sigh:

As the smarter posters to this thread-(both sides of the debate) have ALREADY agreed overdosing is "using the substance to an EXTREME". As such that example can't be used when studying the effects of which is worse.

EXAMPLE: (again)
You CAN overdose on water also, so does that make pot safer than water? No, to think that way is being ignorant.

I'd love to hear you say on national TV that pot is safer than water cause you can't O/D on it. You'd be a laughing stock for the rest of your life.

Actually, I often think I'm spending too much time on the internet. Of course, I never think of myself as a big, fat, loser...unlike a good percentage of the membership here, I'm not overweight. i'd say alcohol is worse. i've done both. i kinda gave up proper drinking 7 months ago, after i was really sick at a party for the first time. it wasn't that i thought 'ok look what what happens when u drink', but i just can't face the taste of strong drinks any more. of course i'll still drink a beer or lite drink with a meal, but i no longer go out to intenionally get drunk, which looking back was very stupid and immature.
about a month ago i tried weed. still do it (today even), and it's alot more relaxing then alcohol, and alot easier to take, and doesn't make u stupid and falling over and bein sick (not saying that everyone that driks does, just that i do)
a friend says to me today 'hey you wanna come get drunk tonight to celebrate school being out?' . no way, i'll go smoke a J

I wasn't aware that this was a discussion of whether or not pot should be made legal. My opinion is invalid if I've never gotten high on a regular basis? Do you really believe this? So you're saying nobody should offer an opinion on Herion usage unless they've been a junkie?
