Building a new system and I've pretty much decided I'm going to do a quad core OC.
I was pretty much set to get an abit IP35 mobo until I saw the q6600 bundled with an Intel 975XBX2KR at TigerDirect. (Price wasn't exactly the deal of the century but seemed fair none the less).
The Intel board seems to have some nice features like dual PCIE x16's, Firewire, and a PATA 133 controller plus it's a genuine Intel board. That said, I've read really good things about some of the P35 based boards too (namely the abit IP35 family and the Gigabyte P35-xxxx line).
What would you guys recommend for a good quad core OCing board given a choice between the abit IP35 and the Intel I mentioned?
Thanks,
JR..
