The Italian Job. It came out crammed in between all the other summer blockbusters (Hulk, Finding Nemo, X2, Bad Boys II, Pirates) and kind of got overshadowed, but I thought it was a very enjoyable movie.

I have to agree. I didn't see it until it came out on DVD, but I really enjoyed watching it.

kill bill, i had no idea what it was about, all my friend told me was "go see it now"

afterwords i found myself telling this to everyone

28 days later - It looked like a cool idea and I'm always a fan of post-apocalyptic, end of the world type movies.
I thought it would be good, but instead it fvcking sucked.
I was lmao when I watched the alternate ending with the storyboard drawings and the director talking about it.
He said they scrapped that particular ending because it wouldn't be believable. OMG, if you are worried about believability, you should have scrapped half of the rest of the movie too. LIKE THE PART WHERE THE INFECTED, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE FILLED WITH UNCONTROLLABLE RAGE, FOR SOME REASON DONT ATTACK EACH OTHER.
Stupidest movie ever.

I knew Revolutions was gonna suck, but the most surprising movie of the year was ROTK. I came with high expectations, based on the previous two movies, and was sorely dissapointed. It didn't suck, but it came nowhere near close to living up to its hype.

I honestly don't know how anyone could not think ROTK was the best movie of the year. Especially someone who liked the first two.
I was suprised that it not only met, but far exceeded my expectations.

Kill Bill

Didn't see any reviews or commercials at all until my boss walked into work and couldn't stop raving about it.

He thought it was so good he gave me one of his free movie passes to go see it. I was totally blown away! I couldn't believe it was such an awesome movie 🙂
The Last Samauri was great. X-Men 2 was awesome. Matrix Revolutions licked my balls. The Hulk licked its own balls. Pirates of the Carribbean was pretty cool. None of them was as good as Kill Bill though.

I don't know why but that was LOL funnay.

Last Samauri was great, far better than i expected.
Kill Bill was awesome, but i expected it to be so that doesn't count.
Maxtrix reloaded and revolutions blew major chunks.

Haven't seen ROTK yet but hopefully it will be better than everything else.

i must say pirates was a surprise for me

also getting dragged to see Love Actually, thought it would be horrible, but it was quite enjoyable.

Maybe you got so caught up in the hype that nothing could've matched your expectations?

I was pretty caught up in the hype too. I got goosebumps every time I saw the trailer. But I still thought it was by far the best movie of the year.

The Last Samurai, did not think much of it at all after seeing the trailer, went to a preview screening cuz it was free, and was blown away...man that was a great movie. The director came out and talked and answered some questions before the movie. Totally not what I expected walking into the movie theatre.
