which cars do you consider to be 'douche' cars?

New Camaros are definitely drawing a large part of the douche crowd. Around here the most common douche-mobiles outside of already mentioned luxury cars are the modern day rhinestone cowboys- 2500 or larger 4wd truck, 6" minimum lift w/ semi tires, stupid loud exhaust with a programmer, brand new chrome drop hitch with trailer nuts but not a single molecule of mud underneath or scratch on the bed.

Most people driving around in the new Camaro's are normally driving V6 models. That doesn't qualify as a douche, that qualifies as a "I wish I had a real Camaro" guy/girl.

In the UK (just as point of interest) worst drivers are always in a Volkswagon Passat or Audi A4. Usually the 2.0 TDi model which they think has the power of a Gallardo and perform overtaking moves as if it did. Tailgate you with a sense of entitlement and always try and race you from the lights, even if you aren't bothered.

Then the next worse cars/drivers/douche are Golf TDI drivers or Seat Leon TDi (Golf derviative).

Then maybe the odd 3 series driver or worst in the BMW camp, MR. 520D I have something to prove driver.

All dangerous really, which is the worst thing about it.

I will honk at you if you are in the fast lane driving slow. I may go around you and cut back over. If you are blocking a two lane freeway like this with say a semi truck to the right at same speed you will get high beamed. If you are coasting way below the speed of other people. And if you are an idiot who drifts in your lane because you can't turn your head without also turning your arms because your hand eye coordination is terrible.

I have owned a g35 coupe ... have an a4 right now and will likely buy a BMW next year when my BMW CCA membership hits 1 year.

That said I live in LA and the typical LA driver of any car would probably be considered a total asshole in most smaller cities.

Buy the g37. Who cares what people think buy the car you want to drive. People are mostly idiots anyway so their opinion should not matter. Hell I want a Miata too. People say its a chicks car. People are stupid. Douche on.

I know the overtaking/undertaking laws are different in the US, but over in the UK you can't undertake people it is illegal. Probably because as soon as you undertake most people who have been sitting in the outside lane of a motorway (freeway) for 10 miles, they instantly pull over into the lane you are undertaking them in...for some reason.

But this staying in the wrong lane (in the UK..the right hand lane(s) ) because you plan on turning right 30 miles down the road is an epidemic...and as undertaking is illegal.....these people are literally rolling roadblocks ! I applaud your honking and high beaming....you'd get done for harassment over here though.

Any cheap affordable car that is slightly more upscale than the average commuter car. This includes G35/37

Any standard ecconobox made to be sleeker and sportier than others, eg Altimas.

Anybody who thinks they are better than you in some way, if it's they have HIDs and you don't, bigger lift, slammed lower, darker tint, bigger wheels, more tilt in their sunroof, anything.

The majority of douches are lower class income financing entry level cars with badge appeal and thinking they are somebody with something to prove. These are the 328i and C230s you see parked at apartments and trailers.

Around here.. it went from BMW drivers to Audi drivers. Still a ton of dbag BMW drivers around though. Oh, and all Mercedes SUV drivers have been dbags in this area.

Douche cars: any Subaru (especially the Station Wagons with the Obama/Biden bumper stickers), VW Golf/Jetta/Passat, any BMW, any Audi. Virtually all these vehicles are *required* to pass you, even if you're doing 85 in the right lane.

Having said that: In my town assholes tend to gravitate to BMW's (sedan and SUV both), Acuras, Inifity's but not Nissans, and sometimes Audi & Mercedes.

If you are able enough to climb up into that truck then you are NOT disabled (maybe mentally).
