which cars do you consider to be 'douche' cars?

i'm considering a G37 and someone mentioned its a douche car. i didnt think this qualified as one. i can see cars like M3, Prius, Escalade, Yukon, or Fusion being douchey cars. what do you consider to fall in this category? Mustangs and Camaros fit the bill too.

There are no douche cars, only douche drivers afaic. Altho a lot of those douche drivers happen to choose Hummer variations.
 
BMW owners have a sense of aggressive entitlement you don't see from owners of other German/Asian makes.

pretty much anyone I see driving a VW golf is zipping in and out of traffic, cutting people off and if there is a line of cars waiting to turn or exit, they are always trying to cut in instead of waiting their turn like everyone else...

I never see VW Golf zip in and out of traffic around here. They usually mellow.

Astros/Safaris. Only weirdos drive those now.
 
Anything made by BMW, and any truck with either trucknutz, or enough clearance to park a minivan under it.
 
Argh, dont be so insecure as to let others influence what car to buy. If you like the car - buy it. Whether the car is a douche car is purely dependent on how you act inside of it.
 
I see a lot of douche drivers in G37s, I'll tell you that. On the other hand, I see douches in practically every type of car, from beaters to pickup trucks to beaters. I'm sure there are some G37 drivers who aren't jackasses but of course you never notice the good ones.

Also a Fusion is not a douche car, too common and plain. It's like a Camry. I'll give you the other ones you mentioned.
 
Anyone that installs a performance muffler, and responds, "oh you wanna smoke wit me!?" when you ask if they also have a "downpipe". (That's the pipe after the exhaust manifold.)
 
Jacked up trucks are the douchebag vehicle of choice here.

second place is a tossup between douche moms in SUVs and douche kids in cavaliers (whatever they are now.. cobalt).


80's camaros and mustangs used to be pretty popular with the douche crew, but they must have wrecked most of them by now - becoming less common.
 
New Camaros are definitely drawing a large part of the douche crowd. Around here the most common douche-mobiles outside of already mentioned luxury cars are the modern day rhinestone cowboys- 2500 or larger 4wd truck, 6" minimum lift w/ semi tires, stupid loud exhaust with a programmer, brand new chrome drop hitch with trailer nuts but not a single molecule of mud underneath or scratch on the bed.
 
Much like guns, cars dont make people do anything. They simply allow the inner asshole to be released.

Having said that: In my town assholes tend to gravitate to BMW's (sedan and SUV both), Acuras, Inifity's but not Nissans, and sometimes Audi & Mercedes.

But my town is also full of nutjobs so in addition to the douche drivers using the above brands, theres also tons of psycho drivers in ALL brands.
