Which car would you take?

Woodward is heaven for just about any kind of car guy right now...within an hour and a half on Saturday, I saw two pristine MKIV Supras, 3 NSX's, 2 Ford GT's and of course the requisite Porsche's/Ferrari's/M-B's/BMW's that belong to the rich people that live near Birmingham.

And those were just appetizers for all the classic muscle out parading around...I'll be out there most of the week. 😀

I am starting to think that people should buy/drive a car based off personality rather than numbers.

I think it would create more connections with cars and the community

Supras aren't aerodynamic, if you want to go farther than the mcclaren, get a buggati or the best car of all time McClaren F1

BYAAAHHHHH

How old are you? Do you drive?

Why do you think people buy beetles? Because they're fast? Give me a break.

nsx is a classic, the supra will be outdated once a cobras start becoming cool/cheap/easy/reliable

Naw, I don't think the Supras will be outdated. Not my cup of tea, but that engine is legendary. Whoever heard of 5, 6, 700 hp on the stock block?

Walked right into that one😱

So tru. Knew a guy pushin 900 with some craqzy turbo mods. Had so much boost he had to put a better fuel pump in. The turbo lag was so rediculous tho, like almost 5 seconds.

It's usually not the turbos, its the way the cars rear end is designed.

Weight doesn't help it either, plus the aeros

still a tuner icon and has potential and can back it up, just takes money

Uhhh, with most basic turbo set ups you install you're supposed to at least get a 255lph fuel pump...even some N/A engines need them.

Also another reason I don't like Supras is that they make their power only right before the shift. Dyno queens ftl.

Sorry. I wasn't clear. He had to put an even better pump in than the one he initially installed with his turbo.

I've never really been a ahuge Supra fan. If I had to pick between the two cars, I'd get the NSX, but really, in that price range, I'd rather get a Lotus Elise or something with a way higher "Wow, what the heck is that?!" factor.

NSX

Looks cooler, is cooler, will be easier/nicer day to day, doesn't instantly make people think OMG 2Fast2Furiouser R1CEBOI NO WAI etc.

Supras are too common now for being a high powered street car

common? what kinda crack are you on... there are FAR more NSXs on the streets these days than Supras in any kinda condition...

Down here in Houston.. Supras and gen 3 RX7s are virtually extinct...

there are like 2 Supras outa a fleet of ricers that cruise around here still... compare that to the 100s of NSXs out on any Friday or Saturday night around here...

everything else is RICE... Camaros.. Vettes.. and of course Mustangs..

It's a shame that Honda has stopped producing NSXs.
It will be back. It is looking like late 08 Model Year. Still no info on the engine, but latest rumour is a V10. Latest drawings from a year ago had it looking like a Ferrari/Lambo wedge design, but not sure if the source was Honda or wishful thinking out of one of the Honda followings like Mugen.

oh maybe the minivan is a volvo, lol. still, it should not be drag racing, LOL.

Also, Honda already announced that the NSX name is dead. The new car that will be replacing it will have a different name.
