A4 base is 26k, but add packages/mods it comes out to ~30 IIRC. my bro has new wheels, exhaust mod, ECU chip, turbo, and a few other things (with all these mods i know he's over 30k though)

Nice A4! Mine's the same base perhaps (best transmission available) and with all the other options it came to about $38 with taxes included. As far as mods I got new wheels, the lifestyle rack system w/three Baracude bike holders, and a stainless steel grill so far. I plan on doing the ECU upgrade in the next 10,000 mi. but don't care to do an exhaust upgrade (I'll just get the stainless steel tail pipe embelisher's) and some rubber mats.

Tell your brother he needs to get the Stainless Steel Grille Strips as it makes an enormous difference!
