Which animal has the strongest bite pressure?

How does size effect how many newtons (pounds of force) animal (or any living thing) jaws promote, wouldn't a whale closing its jaws have the strongest since theres more tonnage of muscle clamping down? How is the aligator snapping turtle have a strong bite, is it really its strength or its razor beak thats just sharper in slicing, it seems they range from different animals like gorillas (bigger necks and skulls) yet smaller animals seem to have the hype of stronger force via jaguar and hyena...anyone have any science:

What animal, do you think has the most formidable bite?

Thanks, but I asked for science, in one of those links is this:

Thats retarded, a lion the least, even a jaguar above him? Ha ha ha, the lion has the strongest bite out of all mammals, stronger than any grizzly bear, polar bear, siberian tiger, jaguar...any mammal carnivorian is under the lion, they wouldnt need a stronger bite because they dont hunt as much as big game as lions do frequently...you know...hippos, giraffes, buffalo, rhinos and elephants.

What's a more accurate measure than PSI?

I've always heard that the jaguar has the highest bite force out of all the big cats.

I dont know now of any real science that measures by psi, psi is just the guage, but it reads newtons on most, newtons are then converted into pounds...that site I linked or ruptga linked...doesnt even know anything of what its talking about, just google searched images and made his own numbers up from phoney sources...for instance he says lions NEVER lived in jungles. lol In india of the late 2 centurys lions were found in rewa, goona, palamau, gwailor, and as far east as bengal, basically all across of india, and not to mention africa has jungles as well, although they prefer open plains they have been in all terrain including jungles...which jungle came from the word jungala which prefers to a dense dry thicket, rain forest has taken over that notion.

And that the tiger has twice the lions biting strength...very untrue, the lion bites harder on notable facts. Its also supported by the most recent science, the lion might be way under the croc and aligator, but for mammals the lion has the strongest.

So this thread was merely a "lions are best aminal ev4r" thread in disguise? I am aghast, and possibly fainting.

I don't give enough fucks to give it more than a casual skim, but it looks like this debate shows pretty well that tiger > lion in every bite strength test:

No I asked which animal or any living thing has the strongest bite, and if any one could shine a light on...SCIENCE...that proves so, I think alot of things can be debunkable like the aligator snapping turtle, its not much of his force but his sharpness that severs things pounds of force is not ment to sever, its made to crush, smash and hold things, even hippos are debunkable, its the force that crushes things its the fact its much larger than most canines that peirce deeper and wider wounds.

Again there is no science in your links, none of these people have any credentials via scientific back grounds that has been accepted and published. I know tons of living things that would just smoke the lion, I was just saying out of mammals the lion has a stronger bite than tigers, bears jaguars or whatever other. You didnt bring any science and already you're throwing a fit.
